This is a card I made for a swap.....all supplies are Stampin Up except the silver strip - that is the lid of a takeout container which I then embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder.

Card Swap
A local group swaps cards every couple of months. With the busy schedule I have these days, I decided to cut back to only 2 groups this round. I did Non Traditional (where the card opens any way but the usual A2 card) and Gift Card holder.
I chose to do the Double Slider Card for the Non- traditional.
This is the gift card holder..I was shown this by my Stampin' Up! Upline....

Borders Swap
I recently hosted a swap to make Border Sets. I had seen various takes on this over on Splitcoast Stampers and knew I wanted some...
It was a great swap and I got lots of great sets to use in my scrapbooking..I am so excited to find time to scrap now.
I made this set for the Animals group...I had seen this lion made by someone on SCS, and now of course I can't find my notes, so if you know who the original creator was, please let me know so that I can give proper credit.

CS - SU, PP - misc, Star brads - misc, SU New Scalloped trim border punch, stickles.
I cut the stars using a file I got from a blog (can't find my notes, so as soon as I do will update with proper credit..)

Long Time, No Scrap
but I'm happy to say I'm back in the game..life has been crazy with Soccer starting (indoor skills) and Scouts. I truly am looking forward to July and having no activities that we have to run to every night LOL!!
I went to a weekend retreat with some friends back in March and it got the mojo going again. Not much was completed there, but I came home ready to dig into my supplies.
I did manage to work on some swaps, and I got 1 LO done, using a Happy Mail swap kit that I received from an online friend, Natalie...thanks again!! I love it!!! Here is the page I did with it..
I'll be back very soon to share some things I made for swaps!!

A Mother's Love
This picture is nearly 5 yrs old.....back when he was soooo cuddly and innocent....its Brayden at the brand new age of 8 days... he and I have been having a rough week, so when I saw today's LOAD challenge was to scrap a big picture and use the word love, I thought what better way to rejuvenate than to scrap a reminder of his sweetness....
Oh how I miss those days....

Project 365
I have decided to embark upon a Project 365 for 2010....That's a picture a day for 365 days..I probably won't blog about them daily, but will aim to share favorites each month...
Today's was a shot I took off my front porch looking towards the west....love the view we get of the mountains from here....that mixed with the arch from the chinook that is blowing in adds to the beauty I see from my doorstep...

Bring on 2010
I am ready for change.....a new year, new goals, and hopefully some new routines....
In 2010, I hope to fulfill many scrapbooking goals...I want to use my stash up, use those stamps I've bought and are now collecting dust...
I'm also aiming to do my first Project 365..as well as take part in Scrapbook & Cards Today's Project 12.
Mandie is doing her LayOut A Day Challenge again in January...so hope to complete that this time....Third times a charm, right...
More importantly, I want to get all the cards I need for birthdays etc complete a month early so that they will arrive on time (if not early lol).
Wishing you all the very best for 2010!!
